Tesla announcement : company stops trading bitcoins 🥲😱

Currently, the value of bitcoins owned by Tesla is $184 million.
In Q2 2022, the company sold more than 30,000 bitcoins (valued at $936 million).
The company first purchased $1.5 billion worth of BTC in early 2021.
At the time, CEO Elon Musk said that Tesla would accept bitcoins to pay for cars. However, he later dropped the idea.

BTC was at $46,000 in early 2021 and reached a record high of $69,000 in November 2021.
Tesla reported Q2 2023 adjusted earnings per share of $0.91, compared to analysts' consensus estimate of $0.80.
Revenue totaled $24.9 billion, beating analysts' forecasts ($24.2 billion).
Tesla lost $204 million in 2022 due to the fall in the price of cryptocurrency, but made $64 million on bitcoin buybacks.
Musk has said he does not own the cryptocurrency wallet allegedly used for the DOGE cryptocurrency transaction; in early June, investors filed a lawsuit in Manhattan federal court alleging he used his online influence to manipulate the rate of the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin.
Take care of your money. Have a good day, everybody. 🥰🤝🏼💰🤑
