The market capitalization of the Chinese yuan is 1.4 billion BTC

Bitcoin (BTC) can be used as a medium of exchange, as a means of savings and as a unit of account corresponding to the 3 main ways of spending money. Thus, various things like IPHONE15 and market capitalization of banknotes around the world can be valued in btc.
Interestingly, cryptocurrency service providers are already used to using bitcoin as a unit of account or valuation for other assets.



The crypto aggregator website CoinMarketCap compares bitcoin's market capitalization with that of fiat currencies. To do this, the crypto platform multiplies the current price of a given fiat currency by the current amount of that currency in circulation, as announced by the central bank of the respective country.


Notably, the market capitalization of the top 20 fiat currencies exceeds Bitcoin's current circulating reserves of 19.51 million BTC, while the Vietnamese Dong is the closest to Bitcoin with a market capitalization of 20,875,201 BTC.

The leading fiat currency by market capitalization is the Chinese yuan (CNY). With a price of 497 satoshis and a circulation of 286.93 trillion yuan, the CNY has a market capitalization of more than 1.42 billion BTC, 72 times that of the leading cryptocurrency.

The US dollar (USD) follows the yuan in second position with a market capitalization of 1.26 billion BTC, which is 64 times the available supply and capitalization of bitcoin.


True, the U.S. dollar has a much smaller supply in circulation than the world leader, having a valuation of $35.24 trillion. The market capitalization of BTC is formed from its trading price of 3,580 satoshis per dollar.


The euro has a market capitalization of about 560 million BTC, the JPY has a market capitalization of just over 380 million BTC, and the pound sterling is in fifth position with a market capitalization of 155 million BTC.
